Taylor is featured in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. There’s a very nice write up on her written by Stevie Nicks! Check it out below. When I first got the call from Taylor Swift about performing with her at this year’s Grammy Awards, I really didn’t want to do it. She’s 20 years old, 5 ft. 11 in. and slender; I’m 40 years older and, to be frank, neither of the other two things! I was not about to stand next to this girl on national television. But her little face just lights up like a star, and I couldn’t say no. Taylor reminds me of myself in her determination and her childlike nature. It’s an innocence that’s so special and so rare. This girl writes the songs that make the whole world sing, like Neil Diamond or Elton John. She sings, she writes, she performs, she plays great guitar. Taylor can do ballads that could be considered pop or rock and then switch back into country. When I turned 20 years old, I had just made the serious decision to never be a dental assistant. Taylor just turned 20, and she’s won four Grammys. I still walk around singing her song “Today Was a Fairytale.” All of us girls want that boy to pick us up and think that we look beautiful even though we’re in jeans and clogs. We want it at 14, and we want it at 60. Taylor is writing for the universal woman and for the man who wants to know her. The female rock-’n'-roll-country-pop songwriter is back, and her name is Taylor Swift. And it’s women like her who are going to save the music business. {SOURCE}

The commercial Taylor did for the Sony TX7 Cyber-Shot camera has been released! It looks like anamazing camera. It’s a really cool commercial so be sure to check it out. I can’t wait to actually see this on TV, the guy at the end is the best part!

Taylor updated her twitter a few minutes ago with a new picture and saying that she flew to Alabama today. The reason being: the A HUG FROM TAYLOR SWIFT guys FINALLY got a hug! She flew to their college and did a surprise performance and met with all of the students who attended. I’m so excitedfor these guys because I’ve watched all of their videos and they deserve it so much. This just shows how wonderful Taylor is, and her fans as well! Be sure to check out the picture because she looks adorable. I love her t-shirt! So.. We might have flown to Alabama for a surprise show today.. One of those days I’ll always remember and smile. Sony has an awesome new feature on their website. You can virtually test out their new camera by taking pictures of Taylor! She poses while you take pictures, then you can look through the pictures you took and have them“autographed” if you enter your name. You can also change the background and her outfit. NEW bLOG!

Taylor uploaded a new video blog to TaylorTV, and it’s hilarious! It shows a bunch of random clips from the past month or two. I’m not sure how to embed it, so CLICK HERE to watch it. Taylor attended the Brooks and Dunn tribute last night in Las Vegas. She sang a song with other artists and one by herself. I don’t know what song she chose, but it looks like she was having a lot of fun! I’ve added a bunch of pictures in the gallery, including some high quality ones. The special will air on May 23. I can’t wait to see her performance! I’m glad she was a part of this tribute, because Brooks and Dunn are incredible and it’s so sad to see them go!

ACM AWARD PICTURES

As you know, the ACM Awards were last night. Unfortunately Taylor went home empty handed – but has won so many other awards, including the CMA’s Entertainer of the Year. You win some, you lose some I guess. I’ve added a bunch of pictures to the gallery. She looked BEAUTIFUL last night. I love her dress that she wore on the orange carpet. And that performance was absolutely amazing. It was definitely one of her best award show performances. CLICK HERE to watch the performance in case you missed it! 12 APR SAN JOSE, CA! Taylor had a show in San Jose, CA last night and I’ve added pictures into the gallery. They got some good shots, and the local newspaper wrote a really nice review about her! I’ll post it below so be sure to check it out! Also, I added a bunch of pictures from a show the other night in Kansas City thanks to Caitlin! CLICK HERE to see those! It just felt so genuine. That’s popular music’s most elusive trait, but one that could be found from start to (nearly) finish at Taylor Swift’s winning concert Sunday night at the HP Pavilion. It was there as the singer opened her San Jose show — which, like every other date on her “Fearless Tour,” sold out in mere minutes — with a high school motif that featured dancers dressed up as cheerleaders and musicians in marching band uniforms. The 20-year-old country/pop vocalist wore a majorette’s outfit, complete with a tall feathered hat, as she belted out a spunky version of 2009’s most-played radio hit, “You Belong With Me.” As the song drew to a dramatic close, the cheerleaders tore off Swift’s uniform to reveal the glamorous gown underneath. It was just like in one of those popular teen flicks, where the nerdy girl takes off her glasses and suddenly transforms into the prom queen — and the storyline worked perfectly for Swift.
