This doesn’t really have anything to do with Taylor, but as many as you may know, Nashville is suffering from terrible flooding. I’ve visited Nashville many times over the past few years, and it is honestly my favorite place in the whole world. It’s a beautiful, exciting city with so much historybehind it, and to see pictures of it all underwater is so heartbreaking. I keep seeing so many pictures of all these wonderful places that I’ve visited, such as the Grand Ole Opry and downtown Nashville, and it’s so, so upsetting. To find out how you can help, please read below. Be sure to help out if any way if you can, and pray for everyone who lives there and may be suffering from the flood.
All volunteers wanting to help flood victims in Nashville need to register through Hands on Nashville. The Nashville Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management is coordinating all volunteer requests with the local non-profit organization. To register, go to Hands On Nashville’s website, WWW.HON.ORG, or leave your name and number at their headquarters, 615-298-1108. Opportunities to help with the flood disaster will become available on an as-needed basis.
You can also donate resources to the Nashville Red Cross atWWW.NASHVILLEREDCROSS.ORG, and to the Community Foundation’s Nashville Flood Relief Fund, WWW.CFMT.ORG/FLOODRELIEF. {SOURCE}
